The North Canterbury Fish & Game Council publishes brochures with detailed colour maps showing access points to the fishing waters plus fishing information. The pamphlets for this region are not currently available online.

Obtaining printed pamphlets

If you would like a printed copy of any pamphlets, either:

Send a stamped, self-addressed envelope (NZ postage $0.45 on a standard envelope or $0.90 on an A5 envelope) to the North Canterbury Fish & Game office. Open and edit a standard request letter.
Call into the North Canterbury Fish & Game office
Drop into one of the local licence agents (which includes most fishing and sport shops).
Call into the office at the Tongariro River Motel in Turangi - full sets of pamphlets are available.
