Fish & Game Access Pamphlets

Each regional Fish & Game Council publishes pamphlets and brochures that include detailed access instructions and colour maps showing access points to local fishing waters. Otago and Southland Fish & Game also publish books covering the rivers and lakes in their areas.

Most pamphlets are available online. Printed pamphlets are free.

Obtaining printed pamplets

 If you would like a printed copy of any of the pamphlets, either:

• Send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the local Fish & Game office
  with a request for the pamphlets you want. A standard letter is available - just add your contact details and print.
• Call into the local Fish & Game office.
• Call into a local fishing shop. Many have copies available.
• Call into the Tongariro River Motel in Turangi - full sets of pamphlets are available.
