Gold 'n Views is marked on the Ohinemuri River map.

It is located in Karangahake Gorge at the southern end of the Coromandel Ranges and is part of the Coromandel Peninsula. It is situated on State Highway 2 between Paeroa and Waihi.

Access to the Ohinemuri River

Gold 'n Views is about 4 minutes by car from Turners Reserve, Mackaytown which has a rough track down to the Ohinemuri River best suited to 4 wheel drive vehicles. However 2 wheel drive cars can get close to the river using the track when it is dry.

Access to the Waitewheta River

A council maintained, sealed reserve at Karangahake village gives access to the Waitawheta river. The reserve is the site of gold mining ruins where visitors park and go for walks. It is also has a café and the Ohinemuri winery.

It's just a couple of minutes by car to the Karangahake reserve, or guests can take the Crown Hill walk from Gold 'n Views which parallels the Ohinemuri River on the opposite side of the river to State Highway 2.

A newly built cedar wood cottage, located on the rear part of the section, is available.

Gold 'n Views Bed and Breakfast's location in the heart of Coromandel's historical gold mining region offers visitors many other attractions. These include:
