- Walking the Tongariro Crossing, one of New
Zealand's finest day walks
- Walk the many other local tracks, such as
Ohinetonga, Sunshine track, Round the Mountain and the Northern
Circuit
- Skiing on the Whakapapa ski fields, just
35 minutes drive away
- Do the Raurimu Spiral: a great way to see
the Central Plateau, this trip takes you down to National Park
then back to Taumarunui in half a day

| Cancellation policy |
Should a site or accommodation booking be cancelled
within 7 days of the reservation then the proprietor will make reasonable
effort to re-let the site/accommodation. If able to do so, any sum
paid will be refunded less an administration fee of $10.00. If the
site/accommodation is unable to be re-let then all or part of any
sum paid may be forfeited at the discretion of the proprietor. |
