Lyons Lake Stay is marked on the Lake Okareka map and the Lake Tarawera map.

It is 10 minutes from Rotorua and 15 minutes from the airport.

Winter/Off Peak rates (1 May-19 October)

• Single: $50
• Double: $75
• Triple: $32 per person
• Bunk room: $26 per person
• Bunk room: $30 per person

Summer/Peak rates (20 October-30 April]:

• Single: $60
• Double: $85
• Triple: $35 per person
• Bunk room: $30 per person

Long stays

For stays of 3 or more nights discounts are available; please ask for a quote.

Group stays

The Lake Stay is also available as a holiday unit for small groups from $160 per night (up to 6 persons) and $25 each extra person.

Meals

- Breakfast: $8-$18 per person

- Picnic lunch: $10 per person

- Kiwi BBQ packs: $20 per person

Hire fees:

- Mountain bikes: $20 per day

- Kayaks: $30 per day, $20 half day, $10 per hour

A cancellation fee is required if cancellations are made within:

- 30 days of arrival: 30% for each room night

- 14 days of arrival: 50% for each room night

- 48 hours of arrival: 100% for each room night

A refund will be given, minus 30% administration fee, if a replacement booking is made.

From Rotorua city centre:

• Follow the signs to the airport along State Highway 30.
• At the roundabout, turn right onto Tarawera Road.
• Keep driving for several kilometres to the Blue Lake Holiday Park. Do not take the first turn for Okareka Loop Road.
• Keep going until you are past the Blue Lake Holiday Park and take the second Okareka Loop Road turn.
• For another kilometre or so, look for Summit Road on the left. Lyons Lake Stay is situated 20 metres past the Summit Road turn off. Look for their sign on the left.
