Rangitaiki River Lodge

The Rangitaiki River Lodge is an elegant, peaceful retreat in an area which abounds with natural beauty. There is trout fishing at the door and guides are available. From the lodge, you can enjoy the fishing in the Rangitaiki and the Whirinaki Rivers which run through the surrounding mountains of Urewera National Park.

The Murupara area was selected as the venue for the 1991 World Fly Fishing Championshipsin New Zealand - a fine endorsement of the diverse waters and high quality trout fishing available in this area.

Transport and transfers	Rangitaiki River Lodge can: Arrange for charter planes for 2-14 passengers from Auckland to Murupara (and transport to the lodge) Pick up guests from Rotorua Airport or Auckland Airport in their six-seater van
Activities	An 18 hole golf course, golf club and trundler hire available Horse riding, either from the lodge's stables or guided horse treks on local rivers or forests Leisure pursuits in the lodge's grounds include croquet, volleyball and orienteering Native bush walks or scenic walks on the Rangitaiki or Whirinaki Rivers Arrangements can be made for claybird shooting, laser shooting, Pulse Range and target shooting White water rafting and jet boating nearby
