Location	The Blue Pub is marked on the Lower Rakaia River map. It takes just over an hour to drive to Methven (also known as Mt Hutt Village) from Christchurch International Airport.

Directions	From Christchurch, drive south on SH1: Take SW1 to Rakaia Turn right at the big salmon and then stay on the main road. You will drive straight into Methven The Blue Pub is directly ahead of you about 2 minutes after you enter the town limits, just past the Mobil Gas Station Alternatively: Take the Inland Scenic Route on SW72 through Horarata and Rakaia Gorge Turn left at the first signpost you see (at Mt Hutt Station) to Methven via the alt route Drive straight on into the Main Street.
