Waiau Motor Camp and Holiday Park

 

Within easy walking distance to excellent trout and salmon fishing on the Waiau River, the Waiau Motor Camp and Holiday Park provides camping in an open area with many recently planted trees.  Single rooms and double rooms are also available.

There is a roomy, well appointed kitchen /dining and and a large TV lounge. Your cheerfull host also runs the camp store.

Fishing waters

Waiau River and its tributaries.

Hutch can point you to some great fishing spots 10 minutes walk from the motor camp.

Location

Waiau Motor Camp and Holiday Park is marked on the lower Waiau River map.

It is situated between Kaikoura and Hanmer Springs on State Highway 70.
