Possum Lodge provides true lakeside accommodation on the shores of Lake Manapouri and the Waiau River which has a healthy population of trout.

Possum Lodge provides a range of accommodation for all budgets, including comfortable self-contained motel units, cosy backpacker cabins and spacious campervan sites. It is closed during winter from May to September.

Fishing waters	Without having to cross a road, wander to fishing: - the Waiau River and - Lake Manapouri Lake Te Anau is just a 20-minute drive away. For those wanting something more remote, Possum Lodge can assist in organizing fishing trips by boat or helicopter.
Location	Possum Lodge is marked on the Waiau River/Lake Manapouri map. It is situated on the shores of spectacular Lake Manapouri on the outskirts of the township of Manapouri amid some of New Zealand's most inspiring scenery.

Local attractions and activities	The township of Manapouri caters for local and international visitors in a typical New Zealand laid back, relaxed holiday village atmosphere. Take a scenic cruise to remote Doubtful Sound, revered for its wilderness and marine wildlife, depart from Manapouri wharf 400m from Possum Lodge. Experience a guided kayaking trip on Doubtful Sound. Hire a kayak and kayak on Lake Manapouri Go kayaking and canoeing in the sheltered waters of the Waiau River Tramp or walk Fiordland's world famous walks such as the Milford, Routeburn and Kepler Tracks, and the lesser known Dusky and Hump Ridge tracks.
Prices valid until 30 April 2008	Possum Lodge Holiday Park's prices from October 2007 to April 2008 are: $90 per night: Self-contained motel unit for 1 or 2 people $46 per night: Standard cabins for 1or 2 people $14 per person: Campervan sites (Possum Lodge is closed from May to September.)
Cancellations	Possum Lodge requires 48 hours notice of cancellation by email or telephone.
