The Royal Mail Hotel

The historic 1875 Royal Mail Hotel has been renovated and refurbished to provide stylish comfortable rooms and a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is a delightful relaxing place for anglers and families to stay. Breakfast is provided and there is a large restaurant and bar.

The Royal Mail is located in the heart of Southland’s fishing capital Lumsden, close to the Oreti  and Mataura Rivers.

The Royal Mail Hotel is marked on the upper Oreti River map. It is situated in the heart of Lumsden, just off SH6 and SH94.
