Tokaanu Lodge Motel

Tokaanu Lodge Motel has its own 6 metre surveyed charter boat available for lake fishing and a local marina with all-weather boat ramps where you can launch your boat when setting out to conquer the Lake Taupo trout.

Then after a day out fishing, relax in the soothing hot water of the lodge's thermal pools. Perhaps that's what helped the Czech team, who stayed there for a week, going on to win the 2008 World Fly Fishing Championships.

The well-appointed, self-contained units make an excellent base for exploring the lakes and rivers of the central North Island. Your friendly host at Tokaanu Lodge Motel can arrange lake trips and fishing tours with a knowledgeable local guide.
