Southland Fly Fishing Club

The Southland Fly Fishing Club is based in Invercargill and meets monthly. It organises fishing trips, club competitions and fly-tying evenings, and runs a fly fishing course each year which is open to the public.

The club, which has been in existence since 1974, also distributes a monthly newsletter. Its home fishing water is the Mataura River.

Meetings are held at 7.30 pm on the last Tuesday of each month except December.

Cost: $110 for the two day course.

Registration: Register using the registration form at the Southland Fly Fishing Club website. The course is limit to 18 participants, so register early.
