The Woody Club

The Woody Club is a loose association of huntin, fishin, shooting types with a passion for life.

It is an active club which typically meets at the Auckland Club twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, as well as organising events and competitions.

Hamilton Anglers Club (HAC)

The HAC is a collection of keen and active fishers with regular trips and events organised to local and more distant waters. The club meets on the last Monday of each month at the Sports Fishing and Boating Clubrooms in Grantham Street at 7.30pm (except Dec). Visitors are most welcome to attend.”

70 members meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7.30pm at the Awapuni Community Centre in Newbury St. Palmerston North and again for Fly-Tying on the first Wednesday of every month - January excepted. Excellent monthly magazine and fishing trips with tuition for newer members. The club is actively involved in the preservation of waterways and fish managment with representatives on our national bodies and organizations. New members are welcome and catered for on a 'whole of club' basis.

Has a diverse range of guest speakers at club meetings. Experienced fishers share their experience with newer members. Flytying evening are held on the first Wednesday of every month.
