The Trout Man

Harvey Clark, known as the Trout Man, offers very reasonably priced fly fishing tuition and charters for beginners, backbackers, budget travellers, families and senior citizens.

Harvey is a very experienced and knowledgeable angler committed to passing on his love of fishing. He also writes a regular fishing report for the national newspaper the NZ Herald.

Harvey is based at the Waiteti Trout Stream Holiday Park situated on the banks of the Waiteti Stream close to Lake Rotorua.

Fishing options

All tackle is provided but you need to purchase a fishing licence (available from the camp store). A fish preparation area and fish smoker are also available.
