South Island Trout Stalkers operate guided fly-fishing trips from Queenstown and Glenorchy, an area of crystal clear mountain rivers flowing though majestic valleys. The emphasis is on stalking and fishing to the large and wary fish that inhabit these remote waters.

They will tailor each trip to remote rivers by foot, 4WD, jetboat or helicopter to suit your fitness, preferred fishing style and the time you have available.

Fishing waters	Some of the waters fished by South Island Trout Stalkers include: Greenstone River Caples River Oreti River Plus many other rivers that are only known about by people who have lived and fished in the area for many years. Say what fishing you like and they will put you onto the appropriate water.
Fishing options	South Island Trout Stalkers operate out of Glenorchy and Queenstown and specialise on the crystal clear rivers and streams that flow through the glaciated valleys in the area. They offer day and overnight trips and will tailor make any trip to suit your plans. Fishing options include: Half day trips with one angler and one guide Full day trips with one angler and one guide Campouts in the field, which includes all food and camping equipment. Heli-fishing where you are transported into remote rarely visited areas to fish Jetboat fishing where you have the adrenaline rush of a jet boat ride up a pristine waterway to aremote fishing location Multi-day packages: For example: 3 Day fly fishing with two nights camping out You choose how advernturous you want to be and the time you wish to spend. South Island Trout Stalkers will design the fishing trip for you. All the fishing equipment is supplied including licences, although if you have your favourite rod you're welcome to bring it along.

Accommodation	As well as providing an excellent guiding service South Island Trout Stalkers run Matagouri Lodge at Glenorchy. It is a good idea to combine your accommodation with your guiding as Gordy and Jim do warn people that they like to start the day early to ensure clients get the best fishing. The lodge is located 3 minutes walk to the village center and 5 minutes walk to the lake.
Amenities	The lodge can sleep 6 adults in 3 double bedrooms each with their own balcony access.
