| Fishing options |
Variable "best
days" option
- Entails booking a designated number of days
fishing with one or more added rest days, e.g. book 4 days and
fish any 3, or book 7 days and fish any 5 (applies to bookings
of 4 or more days).
- Designed to allow for wet weather, tiredness
and other activities
- An excellent option for anglers traveling
with non-fishing companions who would welcome combining fishing
with some sightseeing, hiking or simply relaxing.
- Enables couples or friends traveling together
to take turns being guided fishing on different days with a day
or two for other pursuits.
- No charge for the days not fished as long
as you specify this option when you book. You can decide to fish
the extra day(s) later if you wish.
Part day option
- Designed for clients who have never fished
before, those who have limited time, or those who find a full
day too tiring.
- Best suited to lake fishing
- Finishes early afternoon, in time to catch
the Alpine Express to Christchurch from Moana (Lake Brunner)

| Testimonials |
"I can enthusiastically
endorse the Hoy's as people who care about the people they introduce
into the joys of fishing Westland, Brian being extremely capable
of putting us "fishos" into the best possible position
to catch the elusive brown trout that abound in these waters."
- Eric Holman, NZ
"I've fished with Brian on six separate
trips, over four years; every one has been better than the last!
Fantastic country, amazing, wild fish, and a guide who is totally
sympathetic. For the real trout experience Brian's THE man."
Richard, UK
