Matiri River Access Points

This table details Fish & Game access points to the Matiri River as shown on the Matiri River access map.

1	Matiri Valley Rd 8.6 km from SH6.
2	Matiri Bridge Take the track down the bank on the east bank, on the downstream side of the bridge.
3	East Matiri Rd 2.1 km from the bridge. A walking track leads to the river.
4	Lake Matiri Track Drive 6 km from the bridge along the west bank road to the DOC car park. From the car park, drive only in a 4WD drive vehicle; otherwise walk. Note that there are no trout in or above Lake Matiri.
