Rotorua International Trout Tournament

All waters in the Rotorua district except for Lake Aniwhenua, Flaxy and any wild river fishery can be fished.

Lake Opuha Fishing competition

November 2010

Lake Opuha near Fairlie

Held annually. Organised by the Fairlie Lions Club (contact Colin on 03 685 5855) in conjunction with CSI Fish & Game.

A family event. Entry fee is $15 for adult anglers and $6 for junior anglers (under the age of 18 years). Fishing licences are essential, and all boat safety requirements are expected.
