Lake Rotoroa Water Taxi proides quick and easy access to fishing in and around Lake Rotoroa in the in the beautiful Nelson Lakes National Park. It can take keen trout fishers to the remote Sabine and D'Urville rivers where great trophy brown trout can be caught.

The water taxi operates all year round on demand, and owner Craig Simpson is a keen fisherman and guide.

Water taxi service
  • Licenced water taxi
  • Carries up to 12 passengers.
  • Operates all year round on demand,
  • Drop off for a day or several days fishing
  • Can be contacted from D'Urville hut which has a radio
  • Can be contacted from Sabine hut by Vodafone mobile phone or by the hut radio
  • Drop-off of supplies can be arranged if you're staying a while
