Description The Coachman trout fly is a traditional pattern that dates back to the early 19th century.

Uses A verstaile pattern able to be fished wet or dry. It imitates a variety of insects and is best fished just subsurface in the evening. Very good when used in and around overhanging bush.
Type Wet fly (though can be fished dry as a beetle imitation)
