Crane Fly trout fly

Description The Crane Fly trout fly is a very effective pattern to use during the warm months when numbers of Crane Flies (also known as Daddy-Long- Legs) are around the water. Even when trout are feeding actively on other insects they seem unable to resist a Daddy Long Legs as it floats by.

Use Although fished as a dry fly it is also still effective when it sinks below the surface. Keep in the fly box for those evenings when all else fails to attract rising fish that refuse all other offerings.
