Epoxy trout fly

Description The Epoxy trout fly is designed for depth fishing. It is very heavily weighted and designed to get any line (and other attached flies) down to the bottom in the shortest time even in strong currents. Sometimes it is tied with variants such as the "hot pink butt" on this one but often the sole purpose is as a sinker that takes other more natural patterns down to the bottom.

Use While it will take the occassional fish, the epoxy fly is usually fished with another more natural fly tied below it.
