Goddards Caddis trout fly

Description

The Goddards Caddis trout fly is a very popular caddis pattern as being tied from deer hair tends to float for long periods.

The Caddis Dry trout fly is a commonly used dry fly. In the evening the air can be filled with these light coloured moths and they provide a sizable proportion of the trouts diet during the warmer months. Best  on sizes 12 - 16 but match the size of the fly to the insects seen flying around.
