Description

The Hare's Ear trout fly is similar to the Hare and Copper and should be fished near the bottom of the river where it is best when allowed to tumble along the stony bed. A great trout catcher throughout New Zealand.

Type Nymph
Use Fish either weighted or unweighted but ensure it is able to be as close to the river bed as possible.
Represents

Mayfly nymphs.
Stone flies in the larger sizes.
