Veltic spinner

Description

The Veltic is a small-bladed spinner that is very effective on small streams. It is best when fished upstream and brought back down the current just faster than the water is flowing. It needs little speed to get the blade turning and so can be fished slowly along the bottom.

The two most popular colours are red and green. rainbow trout seem to prefer and attack the red pattern while brown trout seem to prefer the more muted green pattern. The Veltic usually comes with a treble hook which needs to be changed to comply with some regions' regulations.

The regulations in some regions do not allow treble hooks. You will need to replace the treble hooks with a single hook.
