| This is a call
for help: HELP!!!!!
We need as many people as possible to turn up
to the proposed One
Plan hearings on the 3rd and 4th March 2010 to support Fish
and Game, Forest and Bird and the Department of Conservation, while
we present our evidence to the commissioners on the state of our
freshwaters and their ecosystems, the factors that threaten them,
and the need to protect them.
So if you care about sustaining our rivers and
streams for their recreational, intrinsic and amenity values, so
that future generations may enjoy them as well, please come along
to support us.
We also need someone who is willing to 'take'the
stand' and speak about what fishing used to be like compared to
now.
