Manuka Beetle trout fly

Description Manuka Beetle trout fly is also known as a Green Beetle. These beetles appear in summer and are eagerly sought by trout. A most effective fly to have when fishing in backcountry areas during warm summer weather.

Use Best during November and December daylight hours when Manuka Beetles are active. The wind blows them onto the water - sometimes in great numbers and the trout lie waiting for them.
